Within the scope of its collaboration with global energy solutions provider Chint Power, Vestel Mobility will manufacture Chint Power’s energy storage system products in Turkey. Through this collaboration, Chint Power aims to respond to the increasing demand for energy storage in both the domestic market and neighboring regions with Turkey's domestic production power.
Vestel Mobility has signed a strategic partnership with global energy solutions provider Chint Power in the field of battery energy storage systems. Having undertaken significant projects in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Turkey and Europe, and having invested in energy storage systems for many years, Vestel Mobility will manufacture the industrial, commercial, and utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) developed by Chint Power in Turkey as part of this collaboration.
Operating in global markets with 5 production facilities, 2 R&D centers, 255 technical patents, over 400 production equipment, and over 300 testing equipment, Chint Power actively continues its operations both in global markets and in Turkey as a major inverter and energy storage solutions provider listed on the BloombergNEF Tier-1 list.
Under the agreement, OEM production will be carried out in Turkey using Chint Power’s main equipment, aiming to meet growing market demands with domestic production power. The agreement covers utility-scale energy storage systems, commercial and industrial energy storage solutions, residential energy storage systems, and charging stations. The collaboration, which will combine Chint Power’s global experience with Vestel Mobility’s engineering and manufacturing power, aims to offer consumers high-quality and reliable solutions.
As part of the collaboration, which became official with a signing ceremony held at the Solarex Fair in Istanbul between April 8-10, Vestel Mobility will manufacture Chint Power’s energy storage systems in Turkey utilizing its domestic production infrastructure. Elevating its production capability to world standards and expanding its market network to various geographies around the globe, Vestel Mobility aims to respond not only to the needs of the Turkish market but also to the increasing energy storage demand in neighboring geographies, primarily Europe, through this partnership.
