Public and energy sector representatives closely examined the production, engineering, and infrastructure power for energy storage systems at Vestel Mobility's production facilities during the technology and production tour held within the scope of the Vestel Mobility and Chint Power collaboration. At the event, where the critical role of domestic production, advanced technology, and strong collaborations in Turkey's achievement of its renewable energy goals was highlighted, participants experienced Turkey's production power in energy technologies and its globally competitive industrial infrastructure on-site.
Within the scope of the program, representatives from the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Trade, TEDAŞ, and EPİAŞ came together with sector associations such as GÜYAD, PİLDER, and EDSİS. During the program, which was also attended by free zone representatives and sector opinion leaders, visits were made to Vestel Mobility's production base, Vestel City, in Manisa, and its domestic energy storage systems production facility in Izmir.
Strategic discussions and factory tours
During the two-day strategic meeting, the critical role of energy storage in Turkey's energy transition process, global developments in the market, and the sectoral leverage effect that the Vestel Mobility and Chint Power partnership will create were discussed. Through factory tours, participants had the opportunity to experience Vestel Mobility's high-tech production processes, quality control standards, and strong engineering infrastructure on-site. While the importance of ecosystem cooperation among the public, private sector, and NGOs for sustainable growth was underlined, the contribution to Turkey's vision of becoming a global hub that develops and exports energy technologies—rather than just a market—was emphasized.
The partnership between Vestel Mobility and Chint Power aims to elevate Turkey's production capability in energy technologies to global standards while responding to the rapidly growing demand for energy storage with domestic production power. This strategic visit, which brought together public institutions and leading representatives of the sector, served as a strong platform that directly showcased the technological maturity achieved by the domestic industry and the added value it will offer to the ecosystem.
