Ultra-marathon swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu, sponsored by Vestel, has successfully completed the Kaiwi Channel — the fifth leg of the Ocean’s Seven and one of the world’s most challenging open water routes. Starting her swim on Sunday, April 27 at 5:30 PM (local time), the young swimmer completed the route, which stretched to nearly 60 kilometers due to strong currents despite being 42 kilometers as the crow flies, in 21 hours. With this achievement, Türkoğlu has become the youngest Turkish swimmer to cross the Kaiwi Channel
