The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TEA) 2023 Export Champions Award Ceremony was held on Saturday, June 8th, hosted by TEA President Mustafa Gültepe with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Maintaining its first place in the electrical-electronics sector this year with exports of approximately 2.4 billion US dollars in 2023, Vestel became the champion in this field for the 26th time in a row. Bringing its products and technologies to more than 160 countries around the world with an export ratio of 63 percent, Vestel ranked sixth in the overall ranking of Türkiye’s top exporting companies, as determined by the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
Receiving Vestel's sixth place award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Mr. Ahmet Zorlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zorlu Holding, said in his address that Vestel proudly carries the name of our country to all corners of the world by delivering its products and technologies to more than 160 countries, and that he is very happy and proud to be the uninterrupted export champion of our country for more than a quarter of a century.
Receiving the first prize in the sector from the Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat at the ceremony, Vestel CEO Ergün Güler stated that they are in a stronger position in the global market thanks to their investments in advanced technology, innovation, equipment and design. He stated that they aim to carry their 26 years of success in exports to even higher levels.
